Drumlin Farm Camp: Farm & Nature Camp - Advanced Counselors-in-Training
Description
Entering grades 9-12.
Develop your leadership skills by working alongside Drumlin Farm Camp counselors and sharing your love and knowledge of nature with younger campers. Each session, you'll be assigned an age group to work with, enabling you to develop bonds with campers as you assist with camp programming. Staff will help you develop your individual teaching and leadership styles as you create new lessons and assist with games, songs, crafts, and wacky camp fun.
In addition to being a great résumé builder, hours spent in the CIT program may count toward community service requirements (varies by town).
Training: All CITs except those in the Advanced CIT program will be required to attend a two-day training June 24-25 or June 26-27. The program fee is to cover the cost of this training. Financial aid is available to help cover the fee as needed.
