Drumlin Farm Camp: Farm & Nature Camp - Apprentices
Description
Entering grades 7-8.
Get hands-on with the farming practices and natural habitats of Drumlin Farm. Discover why sustainable, locally grown food is important to a healthy ecosystem and how organic farms rely on natural cycles to produce food. End the session with an overnight campout* on the drumlin.
Campers move over uneven terrain and may cover 2-5 miles daily.
*On-site overnight takes place the second Thursday of the session. Camp begins at 8:30 am on Thursday and ends at 9:30 am on Friday after the overnight. Drumlin Farm Camp provides tents, dinner, and breakfast for all campers. Campers will not attend camp during regular hours on Friday after the overnight.
Please note: Families may register each camper for no more than 4 weeks of camp.

Please note: There will be no camp on July 4.
The on-site overnight takes place Thursday 7/10 to Friday 7/11.
All participants will receive an invitation to complete required health forms via CampDoc within 24 hours of registering. Details about your session will be sent at least 3 days before the start of your program. All health forms and final payments are due by May 15.
