Teen Birders: Weston Station Pond

Description

A beautiful and diverse area with pond, forest, and meadow habitats, Weston Station Pond is a great spot for early winter birding. We will look for migrating and wintering ducks like Green-winged Teal and Bufflehead, and songbirds like Fox Sparrow, and Rusty Blackbird.

This program is open to youth 12-17

Instructions

Van departs from Drumlin Farm at 8:00am. Pick up is at 12:30pm.

Bring water, a snack, and binoculars if you have them (we have loaners, please ask!). Dress in layers; wear warm boots with tread appropriate for winter. There are no restrooms on the walking route, there is one available at Drumlin Farm.
