Teen Birders: Parker River National Wildlife Refuge

Description

Parker River National Wildlife Refuge consists of more than 4,700 acres of diverse upland and wetland habitats. We will look for migrating and wintering ducks like Northern Pintail, raptors like Northern Harrier, shorebirds like Purple Sandpiper, alcids like Razorbill, and songbirds like American Pipit.

This program is open to youth 12-17

Instructions

Van transportation departs at 8:00am from Drumlin Farm. Pick up is at 2:00pm

Bring a packed lunch, water, binoculars if you have them (we have loaners, please ask!)

Dress in layers and keep in mind that it may be cooler near the ocean.

Restrooms are available at Drumlin Farm and Parker River National Wildlife Refuge.
