Broadmoor Nature Camp: Biologists - Ways of Water
Description
Entering Grades 6-8.
Dive into the world of water and explore the connections between waterways and wildlife on the sanctuary and beyond. Uncover the adaptations of aquatic plants and animals in our ecosystems, and learn how humans have borrowed from them to travel on and through water. Use your aquatic knowledge while you explore hydrodynamics, explore a river habitat, and search for signs of local wildlife on a canoe trip at the end of the session.
Campers move over uneven terrain and may cover 2-5 miles daily.
