Description
The world of insects is vast and fascinating! In this program we'll roll up our sleeves, roll over some logs, and take a closer look. Join us on the BNC trails as we learn about the insects around us and why they're important. With over 1,000,000 insect species worldwide, there will be much to discover. So, bring a curious mind and prepare to explore!
Led by native bee enthusiast, Kalimah Mustafa-Widberg (she/they). Kalimah has been sharing their love of bees by educating the public since 2014 when a bee research project sparked a passion that has lasted nearly a decade! While she truly loves all insects, she is especially interested in the foraging and nesting preferences of the at-risk bees native to Northeastern United States.
