Spring Birding at Burrage Pond WMA

Description

Let's explore Burrage Pond Wildlife Management Area in Hanson! This is a special place and great to explore for ducks and forest birds. Occasionally Sandhill Cranes make an appearance as well!

If you would like to carpool, we can meet at Boston Nature Center (BNC) and carpool from there at 7:00am. We will use the Mass Audubon van (7 people max). Please email me if you are interested in carpooling at [email protected]. Burrage Pond NWR is very big with several entrances. If you meet us there, we will park in the lot on Pleasant St./Hawks Ave. entrance. In your GPS, put Burrage Pond Wildlife Management Area Parking. Dress warmly and bring binoculars!

This program is free if you are a member of Dot Rx. Please email [email protected] to register.
