February Vacation Week: Older Campers

Description

Join us for another exciting February Vacation Camp! We will explore the winter landscape of the Boston Nature Center while learning about the amazing adaptations of the plants and animals around us. We will experiment with snow, discover tracks, tap maple trees and other unique winter activities. Through an engaging nature-inspired curriculum and in a safe, inclusive community, we will have fun and learn during February Vacation.

Ravens (age 10-11) and Adventurers (age 11 to 14), each have their own curriculum that is age appropriate and based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework. The themes are explored through a combination of the following activities: observations, investigations, group projects, nature journals, walks on the trails, art activities, related group games, songs, and more.

We are outdoors every day, bird watching, building forts, and going for walks on a beautiful 67 acre wildlife sanctuary. Time spent outdoors is a valuable and integral part of the February Vacation Week program. For the best learning experience, it's important that everyone is dressed for the weather.
