Description
Join a BNC Teacher Naturalist every week to explore, learn and play. Use your senses to explore the natural world! This program will encourage active learning through outdoor walks, interactive lessons, and art projects. Each program offers a new nature theme to explore and discover through hands-on/minds-on activities. Join us as we explore the beauty of the changing seasons, and how animals adapt to those changes.
This program is composed of activities for children ages 3-5 with an accompanying adult. Activities may include: songs, crafts, running games and explorations. Please check out our Adult or All Ages programs for participants over 12 years of age.
This program will be generally held outdoors, so please bring appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. In the case of storms, we will reschedule the session.
You may register for individual sessions by emailing [email protected] instead of registering for the entire series.
PLEASE NOTE:
The suggested fee for this program is $80 for members and $100 for nonmembers for the series but you can choose to "Pay What You Will". You can pay any amount between $60 to $100 for each child depending on what you can afford.
