Tuesday Morning Bird Walk

Description

What better way to start your day than with a peaceful and scenic guided walk through nature, searching for and learning about the diverse bird species that call Massachusetts their home? Whether you're spotting familiar favorites like ducks, hawks, and bluebirds, or encountering more elusive species, our knowledgeable educator will help you identify them. All experience levels are welcome!

Instructions

Participants will meet at the trailhead of the Green Dot Trail (North parking lot at Trailside Museum).

The hike will take place in an open area where bugs may be present, so it's recommended to wear a hat, long pants, long sleeves, and apply bug repellent. Be sure to wear sunblock and dress appropriately for the weather, bringing a coat if necessary. Comfortable hiking shoes are advised, and don't forget to bring binoculars for the best birdwatching experience.
