Description
Spring is the time when male American woodcocks perform an amazing aerial courtship dance to attract a female. This spring ritual happens in fields just after sunset. Our program will begin indoors with a presentaion to learn about the American woodcock, its displays, ecology, and conservation, followed by a walk to look and listen for woodcocks in the field.
