Description
Rattlesnake Gutter in Leverett is a unique conservation property that features a spectacular, deep ravine full of enormous boulders, rock ledges, and surrounding forest. Besides its scenic beauty, the Gutter is home to a large variety of ferns and other plants due its geology and topography. It's also an eBird hotspot favored by Common Ravens, Barred Owls, and Winter Wrens - 81 species total in a relatively small area.

Meet at the Stop and Shop Plaza, Route 9, Hadley. Please park between T.J. Maxx and Stop and Shop close to Route 9. We will carpool from there due to the limited parking at the Gutter.
