Monarch Hike with Mattapoisett Land Trust

Description

Join Mattapoisett Land Trust and Mass Audubon as we head out on an all-ages family hike at Grace Preserve/Grace Pond in the of Mattapoisett.

Stroll with us as we explore, search, and possibly even tag Monarch Butterflies. Learn about Monarch Watch, the international community science project taking place right here in the region.

This program is FREE thanks to the Mattapoisett Land Trust.

Instructions

Participants will meet for a walk in the Grace Preserve/Grace Pond section of Old Aucoot District. There is off street parking and a kiosk at the southern end of Bowman Road, Mattapoisett.

The program will take place along the 14 acre meadow with mowed grass pathways for walking. Some trails can be uneven and muddy in places, so wear suitable footwear for your visit.
