Meet us at Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis to learn about wildlife over delicious local beverages during our annual Wildlife on Tap Lecture Series. This three-part event offers engaging presentations by experts, highlighting recent discoveries and local insights in a warm and welcoming setting. Registration is required.

Terrapins: A Unique Salt Marsh Turtle

The Northern Diamond-backed Terrapin can be found in local salt marshes, however it is a threatened species in Massachusetts. You’ll learn all about turtle biology, natural history, and some of the exciting local conservation work happening to protect these unique creatures.

Fascinating Fishes: River Herring

Each spring, river herring flood into Cape Cod's freshwater streams and ponds, headed from their saltwater homes to their spawning grounds. This migration is known as the herring run. Don’t miss your chance to learn about these incredible fish and the local work happening to protect them.
