2025 Wild Thing 5k/10k Race & Walk

Special Event: Saturday, June 14, 2025

9:00 am Start Time

Ready, set, GO! Lace up your running shoes and hit the trails for one of the most scenic races in the Berkshires! Wild Thing takes you through the stunning forests and rolling carriage roads of Kennedy Park, starting and finishing at Mass Audubon’s Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary. Choose the 5K route through hardwood forest or challenge yourself with the 10K course.

After crossing the finish line, celebrate at the big red barn with food, music, and a chance to win prizes from local businesses. Top finishers will be awarded, plus race swag for all participants. Feeling creative? Show off your wild side with a nature-inspired costume for a shot at "Best Dressed!"

Every step supports conservation! Proceeds from Wild Thing help fund Mass Audubon’s environmental education and conservation efforts in Berkshire County.

Wild Thing is a rain or shine event. Adjustments to the schedule will only happen in the event of a severe weather alert. Notifications will be shared on Facebook.
