Programs for Groups at Felix Neck

Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary offers a variety of fun and educational nature-based programs for community groups, adults, scout troops, birthdays, homeschool, and more.

Community Groups

We can offer adult groups guided tours on foot or by kayak that specialize in the nature of Martha’s Vineyard, birds, botany or just about any natural history topic of your choosing.

Access-Able Guided Tours

Our Access-Able program provides an opportunity to explore Felix Neck to those with limited mobility. Led by sanctuary staff on our golf cart, these 1-hour guided tours highlight the property's woodlands, marshes, and beach habitats. Pick-up in the Felix Neck parking lot is available upon request. Scout Programs

The Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs offered at Felix Neck allow scouts to work together to gain an appreciation for the natural world. Our educators are available to lead groups, exploring diverse habitats and covering natural history topics. We can design a program to fulfill the requirements of a specific badge. Self-guided hikes can also be arranged. Programs are offered after school, on weekends, and during school vacations. Ask us about opportunities for Eagle or Gold Award projects.

Birthday Parties

Make your child’s birthday truly memorable this year by having a party at Felix Neck. Birthday parties include a one-hour educational program and the use of our exhibit room for one hour. Programs can be customized for your child’s age and interest. Popular programs include: turtles and frogs, insects, animals in winter, and seashore discovery.

Private Functions & Events

We have facilities available for rental by private and public groups and organizations.
