Oceanodroma leucorhoa

The Leach's Storm-Petrel is a breeder in the Northern Hemisphere, with only two known colonies in Massachusetts. More pelagic than the similar Wilson's Storm-Petrel, the Leach's Storm-Petrel is rarely seen from land except following severe storms in the fall. It is an Endangered Species in Massachusetts.
