Mass Audubon Earns Top Rating from Charity Navigator for Seventh-Straight Year

LINCOLN—For the seventh consecutive year, Mass Audubon has earned a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest and most consulted evaluator of charities.

In again recognizing with its highest rating Mass Audubon’s consistent financial health and commitment to accountability, Charity Navigator has placed the state’s largest nature conservation organization within the top 10 percent of the thousands of charities the organization assesses.

In a congratulatory letter to Mass Audubon President David O’Neill, Charity Navigator President and CEO Michael Thatcher noted,  ”Only seven percent of the charities we evaluate have received at least seven consecutive 4-star evaluations. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Mass Audubon apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”
