Lend a Hand at Mass Audubon's Statewide Volunteer Day

On Saturday, April 26, Mass Audubon will host our annual Statewide Volunteer Day with opportunities to get involved across the state—from the Berkshires to Martha's Vineyard—and online. 

Give back to the sanctuaries that you love and the wildlife that they support by working on community clean-up projects. Resurface trails, clean up trash and debris, help with trail maintenance, remove invasive plants, install new trail signage and bridges, trim trees, and more. 

Statewide Volunteer Day has projects for everyone. Explore volunteer opportunities across the state that are accessible, accommodating, and inclusive to volunteers with a broad range of abilities.

Once the rakes and gloves get put away, explore the sanctuary, take in its natural beauty, observe wildlife, and see the impact of your work in action! 

If you can’t make it to a sanctuary for Statewide Volunteer Day, you can still support our efforts from home. Show you care about protecting wildlife in Massachusetts by writing a letter to your legislator.
