Power of People

November 12, 2024

There’s no question: The power of nature is undeniable. It cleans our air and water. It provides endless opportunities for recreation. And it’s a force to address climate change. Just as nature is powerful, so are people. People are the stewards of the nature we need. They are the voice for wildlife. And they inspire future generations to protect the environment.

At Mass Audubon, we rely on and are propelled forward by our members, supporters, volunteers, partners, and staff. Whether it be a community that spoke up to stop their forested land from being developed, volunteers planting climate-resilient trees in our cities, the thousands of advocates who worked to protect horseshoe crabs, or teachers around the state inspiring their students to care for the environment, each person makes a monumental difference.

But our work is far from done. Our commitment to nature’s protection is unwavering, and the role we play is more important than ever. We’re counting on your support to stand up to the challenges the environment will face in the next few years. Will you join us in the fight to protect nature?
