Update on the Farm at Moose Hill CSA

While we had been looking forward to another season of providing our shareholders fresh produce, we have made a recent decision to discontinue the Moose Hill CSA program for the summer of 2025 and will offer full refunds to all our customers. 

This was a difficult decision to make. The decrease of CSA subscribers has coincided with substantially increased costs of running the farm, resulting in a model that is no longer financially sustainable for an organization primarily focused on conservation.  

Also, in this time of enormous upheaval and uncertainty, nonprofits like Mass Audubon must place renewed focus on our core mission, to accelerate the pace of land conservation, minimize the biodiversity crisis, combat the negative impacts of climate change, and ensure people from all walks of life have access to open space and all the positive benefits nature provides. 

We understand this news is unexpected and we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for supporting local agriculture and we hope you continue to support other local farms while visiting our wildlife sanctuaries and participating in our programs to connect you with the outdoors.
