Wellfleet Bay Nature Camp
Wellfleet Bay Nature Camp inspires a child’s lasting curiosity and excitement about nature. Campers ages 4–13 have fun and make friends as they explore the nature of Cape Cod at our 1,100-acre wildlife sanctuary.
Our goals are to instill awareness and appreciation of nature, to demonstrate responsibility for the environment, and to promote nature as an accessible and inclusive place for all. Above all, we create memorable outdoor experiences for our campers.

Early Registration for Cape Cod Residents
Year-round Cape Cod residents with campers who attend a local school can register by phone beginning on January 10. Please have your child’s proof of residency in the form of a local school report card or progress report at your time of registration.
Prior to Registration
To make sure you’re prepared to register for camp, please read our registration instructions and camp policies, which include changes to pricing and membership.
Due to overwhelming need for financial assistance, Sliding Scale Tiers 1-3 are available to Cape Cod's year-round residents only. Tiers 4 and 5 are available to all families. In order to register for a tier lower than Tier 5, please register and pay the deposit at the Tier 5 rate and contact the camp to discuss your Tiers 1-4 eligibility. Financial Assistance may still be available on a case by case basis for non-resident campers. Please contact the camp to apply: [email protected] or 508-349-2615
Our statewide goal is to have a healthy balance of campers from all income tiers attend Mass Audubon camps in order to increase equitable access to camp for as many families as possible while still securing enough revenue to continue providing the excellent camp experience our communities have come to expect from Mass Audubon camps.
