Journey of Monarchs: Tagging for Tomorrow

Description

Join Mass Audubon staff for a Monarch Tagging event at Attleboro Springs Wildlife Sanctuary. Participants will learn about and support Mass Audubon's efforts in Monarch Watch, a national community science program. Monarch tagging allows scientists to understand Monarch migration patterns, behaviors and population trends to aid in the conservation of the species. Participants will learn about a Monarchs journey, how to identify Monarchs and more. Last season we tagged over 100 Monarchs, and we are hoping to increase those numbers with your help- no prior experience necessary!
