Birding Explorations: Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary

Description

Join South East staff as we visit the Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary where you can experience life on a working farm and explore a wildlife sanctuary at the same time. Watch the pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, and cows in the farmyard; see how crops are sustainably grown; walk the 4 miles of trails to explore field, forest, and wetland habitat; and observe resident owls, hawks, and foxes in the native wildlife exhibit. At the top of the drumlin, one of the highest points in the greater Boston area, you can see Mount Wachusett on a clear day.

Please note that this program starts at North River Wildlife Sanctuary in Marshfield. Due to the nature of the program, we are unable to accommodate meeting or picking up participants once we have departed the sanctuary.
