Weddings and Other Special Functions

Located on the North River in Marshfield, this 200-acre wildlife sanctuary offers an attractive meeting room in a lovely turn-of-the-century estate house. A large tent is available for additional space on the lawn. Guests can explore our two trails; one leads to the North River and an observation deck, the other through the woodlands.

Types of Functions: Group meetings, weddings, parties
Maximum Capacity: 45 guests seated in meeting room, 25 at tables or 75 standing
Availability: Mid-August through June 8
Rates: Rental is a privilege of Mass Audubon membership. Anyone wishing to rent the facility who is not a member must first join with a family membership. Private Rental: Full-day (9 am-4:30 pm) $500. Half-day (4 hours) $350. Non-profit Organization - Full day $400; half-day $200; Add $75 Saturday or Sunday. Add $150 if using the building and a tent.
Food Storage/Prep: Residential type kitchen facility
Additional Amenities: Free access to our trails; tables and chairs set up; 2 restrooms, kitchen

Please note: A refundable security deposit of $200 is required. A nonrefundable deposit of $50 must be received with 10 days of booking the reservation and will be applied to the balance due. Payment of the balance is due one week before the event. Smoking is not allowed on the property. alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the sanctuary without special permission. The renter is responsible for set up and clean up including trash removal.
