Send Those Invasives Packing
Sponsored by Drumlin Farm

Tue, Jan 12, 2010 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Location: Drumlin Farm Nature Center
Instructor: Robin Wilkerson - Gardener and Naturalist
Audience: Adult
Fee: Adults $15.00m/ $20.00nm

Thinking about and planning for our plant choices now extend beyond color and form. We seek plants that won't escape into the natural community, give us a pleasing landscape, and at the same time provide valuable nourishment and habitat for birds, mammals and insects. We'll look at the reasons to go native, and be introduced to a choice collection of beautiful - and well behaved - indigenous plants. This program will inspire your gardening and enhance your appreciation of our native species.

Open to anyone age 16 or older.

Instructions and Directions: Park in our main lot and follow signs to the Nature Center.

Registration is required.

Register by mail: program registration form. (PDF 66K)
Register by phone: with a credit card by calling 781-259-2200.
For your own security, DO NOT send credit card information via email.
