Bird List With Safe Dates
 The Safe Dates and Habitat Guide summarizes the most frequently used breeding habitats for each species found to breed in Massachusetts. It also lists the Safe Date period. The Safe Date is the period when most migrants will have left, and those birds that remain are likely nesters. Safe Dates are also the period our breeding behavior codes for Possible or Probable breeding are most accurate. The Confirmed code and the "C" code of Probable can be used before, during or after the Safe Date.
