It has been my great pleasure these last few years to narrate a journey in pictures through the year's accomplishments at Mass Audubon. And as I consider all the things I could share with you—the only challenge is to keep it to a reasonable limit!
And as you look at these pictures and read these stories, I hope you will keep in mind the number of different ways that Mass Audubon seeks to engage with people all over Massachusetts—we want to meet people "where they are" both in terms of geography and interests. Whether you are interested in frogs or birds, global climate change or local zoning issues; whether you enjoy getting dirty with a project or just want a quiet place to take a walk; whether you are from Boston or Egremont; or whether you are 80 or 8; we want you to join us in building conservation communities!
So let me give you news from our sanctuaries and programs across the state which I think will also give you a sense of how our strategies—conservation, education and advocacy—link together and support each other in pursuit of our mission to protect the nature of Massachusetts.
You can also learn more about the year's accomplishments in our Annual Report.
