Important Notice

We are currently managing the beavers and water levels have reduced significantly. The dam is accessible but trails around the pond are not passable and remain closed.

Dam maintenance will be addressed this fall and then trails will be restored/relocated in the upcoming months. Barring any reoccurrence of flooding, trails should be open by spring 2010. The sanctuary remains open for exploring.
