Summer Camp North River Discovery Day Camp North River Wildlife Sanctuary is a living laboratory where children can learn through hands-on investigations in a variety of habitats. The campers are encouraged to be curious and creative, to explore and make discoveries while gaining knowledge and an appreciation of the natural world through positive experiences. Campers will be part of a community, sharing an interest in nature with new friends. They will spend their days in and out of the woodland shelters, on the two miles of nature trails, or on selected field trips, engaged in exploratory activities, cooperative games, and science and art projects. Our trained staff has the skills and enthusiasm to help campers develop a special relationship with the natural world while ensuring a safe outdoor experience.
