Mass Audubon Quests

What is a Quest?

We are excited to introduce the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary Habitat Quest. Designed for sanctuary visitors all of ages, this quest will guide you on a hike through field, forest, and wetland habitats. Each clue gets you thinking about plants and animals and how they interact together in different ecosystems. Along the way, you're likely to encounter white-tailed deer, black-capped chickadees, and many other creatures living on the sanctuary.

This is one of eight Mass Audubon Quests, designed to help you discover the special stories of our wildlife sanctuaries. The length of the quest is just under a mile and takes approximately 45 minutes. You'll follow the rhyming clues to navigate and learn about this sanctuary's wildlife, habitats, and land use history. You can download this Quest here, or pick up a printed copy at the sanctuary. Enjoy your adventure!
