Mass Audubon Quests

What is a Quest?

Many Drumlin Farm visitors are familiar with our farmyard, but did you know that there are over 200 acres of forests, fields, and wetlands to explore? Our Quest leads you along our woodland and grassland trails, exploring the natural geology of the area and how people have shaped the land over time. Along the way, you will see some of our native plants and wildlife in their natural habitat. Follow the clues and you'll end up at one of the most beautiful spaces in the sanctuary, hidden from the farmyard but within an easy family walk.

This is one of eight Mass Audubon Quests, designed to help you discover the special stories of our wildlife sanctuaries. On an hour-long walk, you'll follow the rhyming clues to navigate and learn about this sanctuary's wildlife, habitats, and land use history. You can download this Quest here, or pick up a printed copy at the sanctuary. Enjoy your adventure!
