School and Group Programs
The Blue Hills Trailside Museum is a small natural history museum situated at the base of Great Blue Hill, owned by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) and
managed by Mass Audubon.
We offer programs designed to teach environmental awareness in a fun, interactive
and educational way. In order to maintain a high-quality experience, group size is limited.
We are committed to working with teachers, schools and within Massachusetts frameworks to create an enjoyable program appropriate for school-age children. Programs can focus on Life Sciences or Earth Space Science frameworks. Please inquire about working with one of our Teacher/Naturalists to implement multiple programs into your curriculum. If none of those offered meet your needs, one of our naturalists will work with you to design a program.
Attention Scout Groups!
Please inquire about badge workshops and overnights at Chickatawbut Hill Education Center.
All programs at our site include FREE admission to Trailside Museum.
