Form:
  deciduous shrub or small tree, grows to 20 feet tall
Origin:
  Europe and Asia
How it got here:
  uncertain, sometimes used for landscaping and hedges
How it spreads:
  copious fruit and seeds dispersed by birds
Threat:
  invades fields and field edges, often forming dense stands that largely exclude other plant species
