Broad-leaved Peppergrass (Lepidium latifolium)

Form:
  perennial herb, grows 2 to 5 feet tall
Origin:
  Europe and western Asia
How it got here:
  uncertain, probably accidental
How it spreads:
  seeds and rhizomes
Threat:
  typically invades the higher elevations of coastal wetlands. In recent years, colonies of broad-leaved pepperweed have been found inland along highways.
