  deciduous tree, grows up to 80 feet, typically 30 to 50 feet
Origin:
  central China
How it got here:
  introduced as an ornamental plant for landscaping
How it spreads:
  fruits and seeds are spread by wind and water
Threat:
  typically invades disturbed areas, forming dense thickets that prevent the establishment of native species
